GIAMEEE ’s WORLD
จบการศึกษาปริญญาตรี คณะจิตรกรรมฯ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ปี 2535
ทำงานวิดีโอโปรดักชั่น เป็นเวลาสิบปี จนกระทั่งได้ร่วมทำวิดีโออาร์ตให้กับศิลปิน ทวีศักดิ์ ศรีทองดี
จึงได้กลับมาทำงานศิลปะอย่างจริงจัง
สนใจในเรื่องความทรงจำของมนุษย์กับความรู้สึกต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมรอบๆตัว
โดยนำเสนอความทรงจำต่างๆผ่านมุมมองความรู้สึกของตัวละครที่สมมุติขึ้นมา ในโลกส่วนตัว
เพื่อสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงคุณค่า ของความทรงจำ ถึงแม้บางอย่างจะดูเล็กน้อยหรือไร้ค่า
แต่เมื่อได้หวนรำลึกถึง มันก็จะแสดงคุณค่าของช่วงเวลานั้นขึ้นมา
รูปแบบงาน เป็นลักษณะ งานภาพถ่าย ภาพเขียน การจดบันทึก ประติมากรรม วิดีโอ และเสียง
นำมาจัดวางในพื้นที่โดยให้ความรู้สึกเหมือนพิพิธภัณฑ์

Boonchai Apintanaphong (GIAMEEE)
Education: Graduated from Faculty of Fine Art, Silpakorn University in 1992.
I worked in video production field for 10 years until I once co-worked with an artist named
Taweesak Sritongdee in making video art.
It was the reason that brought me back to seriously work on art.
My interest in human’s memories and feelings toward their surroundings is presented through
the eyes of a character I had made in my own imagination to reflect values of those memories
and feelings
however insignificant they seem, they still get their price when indulge in retrospection.
The exhibition is presented in the form of videos, photos, drawings, journals, sculptures and sounds
arranged in space to make it looks like a museum exhibition.
